"To the entire staff,

Each of you extended kindnesses to us throughout the 1.5 years our mother was in your care.  Please know that we appreciate your thoughtfullness.

All of you formed a protector for my mom and a cushion for us.  Both were priceless.

Thank you for everything.

Love,
Denise & Sandy"

A place for Dignity

Village Rehabilitation and Care Community recognizes every individual's right to dignity and understands that before dementia took its toll, your loved one was a strong, vibrant and capable person. Recognizing the special needs of people with Alzheimer's disease and other memory disorders is at the heart of our approach. We care for each resident's individual physical and mental challenges - but we also look past their limitations - to see the mother, father, sibling or friend you've always known.

With a secure home-like setting and the support of 24-hour staff, we've created an environment designed to remove challenges and barriers, and inspire confidence while allowing the opportunity for spontaneity and resident-influenced activity.

Our community offers two envirnoments for the memory impaired:
Assisted Living - Meadow Ridge looks and feels like home while providing a safe and secure community for those with Dementia, Alzheimer's and other memory disorders.

Skilled Nursing Care - Orchard View is a safe and secure envirnoment for those who require nursing care along with Dementia, Alzheimer's and other memory disorders.
The residents and their families are the focus of our programming.  Our staff is specifically trained to communicate with and relate to residents who have dementia.  They strive to provide services in a way that suits each individual, and promotes independence and dignity.

A memory box (right) is designed
to assist residents in locating their
rooms. Boxes are filled with items
from home that are meaningful
to the individual resident.  These
boxes help to create daily successes
in the lives of our residents.
